My Top 3 Face Masks

Face masks are something I associate with pampering yourself and really practicing a bit of self care. I've been really stressed out lately and sometimes when I get stressed I forget to take time for myself and for my skin. And I've been breaking out and having dry patches. So I thought I would share with you my favorite 3 face masks that I alternate between depending on what my skin needs.

My Beauty Diary Sheet Mask

I got into Korean sheet masks several years ago and so many more have come onto the market since I found these from My Beauty Diary. I still love these so much, I buy the aloe and the apple masks. They're very cooling and calming on the skin - I use them when I feel like my skin needs some extra hydration and some soothing. It does make you look a bit crazy though, as all sheet masks tend to do.

Origins Charcoal Mask

This charcoal mask is amazing for clearing out your skin and making it feel fresh and squeaky clean. It doesn't have a particularly strong smell which makes it perfect for people who are sensitive (like me!). This mask drys up and cracks and that's when you know it's ready to come off. It does feel quite strong so I don't usually put it on my whole face - I just use it where I feel I need it (like my cheeks).

Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask

This mask was my entry into the face mask world. It's the classic green look and it's really thick and creamy. It smells really strongly of mint, which I happen to love but might not be for everyone. You leave this on until it starts to dry and crack and then just rise off with warm water. This is a lifesaver for drying up acne.
