Cozy Fall Haul

Autumn candles and cozy sweaters...

I told myself I wouldn't, but then I watched Zoella's candle haul and I couldn't resist. Bath and Body Works' fall candles are like an internet institution, and I am not immune to all the pumpkin and autumn scents. This year they released a whole range of different pumpkin x baked goods combos (Pumpkin Pecan Waffles, Pumpkin Cupcake, etc). I'm not really so keen on the overly sweet scents, so I passed on most of those, but what I did get is definitely putting me in the fall mood!

I also FINALLY found a chunky sweater - this wine colored one from H&M makes me feel like a Hogwarts student (that's how you know it's perfect). I also picked up a copy of Anne of Green Gables in anticipation for Netflix's upcoming adaptation - I haven't read it for a few years and it's time to revisit my favorite redheaded daydreamer.

Let's get on to all the candles (I did take advantage of a sale, so of course I overdid it a bit!)

1. Cinnamon Sugared Doughnut - I bought the little jar of this because I was no ready to commit to the giant one. This smells just like a fresh cider donut, the mini kind that you get at a farmer's market or little fair. Which, to tell you the truth, is the only kind of doughnut I like. I'm planning on lighting this in the kitchen for that baking atmosphere.

2. Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin - I have had this candle the past 3 or so years, every year. It's the best pumpkin scent! It has all the sweetness of pumpkin pie with the deeper clove scent evoking holiday nostalgia. I prefer this scent over any of the other pumpkin theme candles - it's the only one I buy!

3. Leaves - The cult classic. I've never had this candle before, so I'm intrigued to see what it smells like while burning. They had a few different jar options, so I went for this gorgeous leaf pattern. The notes are crisp red apple, golden nectar, and warm clove spice. I think it's going be a very cozy scent to light in the evenings.

4. Crisp Morning Air - I'm going to be straight with you - this doesn't really smell like crisp morning air to me. BUT, it does smell like a man fresh out of the shower, which is may be better. The sandalwood and amber add to the effect.

5. Sparkling Amber - I love love love amber fragrances and candles. I actually also collect amber rings, but we'll talk about that another time. Amber has such a warm, calming scent. It makes a room feel homey and cozy and just plain lovely. I could go on. Amber is IT.

6. Silver Pine & Cedar - Now this candle is bordering on Christmas territory. Is there anything better than that fresh Christmas tree smell? Fresh Balsam is also a similar candle scent and as Ive had that before, I thought I would try this one instead. Pine & Cedar grow in the yard of my dad's house and it reminds me of my childhood and the Pacific Northwest.

7. Honeycrisp Apple - I just happened to have a couple of honeycrisp apples in my fridge, so here's a change up photo for you. This is a lovely sweet smell and a great transitional scent from summer to fall. It makes me want to go apple picking, which I have never done in my life.

And those were all my choices! Have you fallen victim to the fall candle craze? I'm going to have to light a candle every day to get through all these.

Happy Fall!
