Lazy Weekend

It's about time that I had a lazy weekend. Ok, well, if I'm being honest it's just a lazy Saturday. I'm definitely working all Sunday. But I'm kind of a workaholic, so taking a break is really hard for me and feels weird! My lazy Saturday was pretty good though. I got up early and watching Men's Bicycling and Women's Rowing at the Olympics, went to my volunteer job where I got to be a tin type model, we grocery shopping for some snacks, and watched Swimming and Volleyball. I'm so ready for fall and winter when I can just snuggle up inside with a movie and a cup of cocoa and not feel like I'm wasting all the good weather. What can I say, I'm an indoor person!

Today's outfit was purely for comfort, though I am liking a sort of shapeless silhouette lately.
Top: H&M
Skirt: ASOS
Shoes: Target

I'm trying to savor some of the best bits of summer before it turns to fall, and for me, nothing says summer quite like corn on the cob. When I was young we'd eat corn every summer night sitting outside on the porch, and it makes me miss my family a ton. Some foods are just so nostalgic.

I'm completely glued to the TV when the Olympics are on - I can't get enough. I'm one of those people who cries when people are achieving their dreams and I'm definitely excited to sob through this Olympics. It's so inspiring to see people work so hard and give everything they have to their sport. I'm especially excited to watch Women's Gymnastics! They always do so much fun hype and emotional videos about all the girls.

I hope you've all had a relaxing weekend!
